Endoscopes in Industry- 1970’s

It’s no secret that the Aerospace Industry after the Military were some of the first commercial non-medical users of Rod Lens Borescopes.  This particular photo is the internal inspection of weldments on a Boron Titanium Strut assembly.   Rod Lens Borescopes afford some of the best quality images available compared to lower cost achromatic lens and gradient index lens which are less expensive.
