Videoscopes 2 Way Articulation
Professional Sony CCD HAD Imaging Chip 2 and 4 way articulation system manufactured in Germany. Includes a super bright high intensity metal halide light source, now over 20 years proven technology and patented Welch Allyn bulb inside that has 6000 degree color temperature pure white light for perfect images. This Videoscope system uses a stand alone imaging unit and can use a variety of interchangable probes including both videoscopes and fiberscopes. The endoscope video image capture and display unit is a separate module so the weight is not on the end of the scope as with the other designs. Images can be annotated with comments and saved in several uncompressed image formats and Mpeg 4 video. This is preferred depending upon the application and environment the unit is being used to perform critical industrial visual inspections.
This is much more advanced than the CMOS USB inspection cameras and intended for those applications requiring the highest reliability and performance. Articulating borescope video systems have since the 1990’s used CCD imaging chips and are very reliable with some of the most crisp, sharp imaging and color reproduction. This digital borescope system for endoscope borescope inspections has a fiber optic light delivery system from the control and display unit to the tip of the inspection scope camera. This HD USB endoscope camera is used in aviation borescope applications, industrial corrosion detection, foreign object detection, NDT weld inspections and many other internal remote visual examinations.
Available in both 6mm and 8mm diameter including capability with removable objective lens and side view prism adapters. The hand held industrial videoscope is ideal for industrial professionals visually inspecting turbines and diesel engines for aircraft, heavy equipment, cargo and cruise liners, sewer and water treatment, power generation and many heavy industrial requirements.
Features include a 7″ TFT LCD display with language operating system in English, Polish, Spanish, Turkish, Italian and German. A composite video input and output is provide so it can also be interchanged with a separate CCD camera and fiberscope system of smaller diameter. The Borescope Probe tips are heat resistant to 80 degrees C, interchangeable with the ACMI style light post on all products. Power via a battery belt or 12vdc power supply to AC 120-240 operation.

Probe options for FOD foreign object removal include working channel tools of various designs such as a snare, pronged grasping fingers, retractable hook and magnet. Optional UV inspection capability is available for 6mm and 8mm probes.
